Hotel Ribis

We used this as a one-night stop at the end of October, with three rooms and breakfast. It’s basic, as you’d expect from a 2 Star Motel, and payment is CASH ONLY. The location worked well for us, about a 15-minute drive to Agadir Airport, mostly on a straight road, so arriving didn’t mean negotiating Agadir right away. I’d stay again before heading south on a long road trip, though for me it’s suited to one night, or possibly two. The staff were very friendly, and there was plenty of parking on site. Our first-floor rooms were mostly clean, but I found a dirty pillowcase in one. The bathrooms were clean, and each room had a new shower curtain and a TV. There was also a kitchen area with a sink and fridge, though the fridge didn’t work in two of our three rooms. Two of the three TV remotes were faulty. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on site, outside the motel building. It was nice: fresh bread and a chocolate croissant with butter and a choice of jams, plus fresh orange juice and coffee.

Heading south in Morocco? The hotel is right by the highway, which makes it a good spot for that. I really liked the spacious, clean room and the good AC. There’s a nice restaurant next door, and the woman at reception was so friendly.

We arrived at Agadir Airport at night and stayed just one night. It’s about a 15-minute drive from there, with reception open around the clock and a big parking area for a rental car. Breakfast was included, simple, and served at a restaurant next to the hotel.

A cheap place to stay, and it was clean with hot water all the time.
