If you can get a room with a view, even better, though the rooms are great either way. Nordin deserves a special mention for being such a good host. The service was attentive and helpful, and the little hotel is very pretty and cozy, right by the Dades George.

The staff were very good, and we really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. But the hotel felt basic and isn’t well equipped for cold weather. We stayed one night in the last week of December, and even with air conditioning in the room, it was very cold and drafty. The bathroom was cold too. They need better heating and insulation for a more comfortable winter stay. I wouldn’t recommend it in cold weather, especially for families with young children.

Eco Bio Riad was a special stop for our group on the way to the Sahara. We were welcomed with a delicious dinner and a fireplace on the patio. The atmosphere is great, the food is lovely, and the views are beautiful, especially the marvelous night sky. It’s an excellent place to stay overnight, and for me one of the best Riats with Maroko, with very high standards. Many thanks to Momo and Omar for your hospitality. I hope to come back.

The view was nice and the service friendly, and the food tasted good. But we made the mistake of not asking the price of the only dish we could order before lunch. Afterward, we were charged 300 DH/30 EUR for two omelettes with tomato salad and a Coke each. They also brought a fruit salad we hadn’t ordered. Maybe it was included, but the bill would still have been expensive. The quality wasn’t special enough to justify that price. We later looked things up and found a night’s stay with breakfast costs 36 EUR, so honestly, we felt ripped off.
