Labyrinth Kasbah Dades

We enjoyed the dinner, breakfast, and the host’s company, and it was great hearing about the place. Driving from Marrkech to Merzouga with a few tourist stops, this made a good halfway point for the night. We arrived in the late afternoon and wanted to stretch our legs, so the host suggested an easy village hike that we really enjoyed. Great value and a nice local feel.

The terrace has lovely views over the valley and village, and the sunset is not to be missed. Mehdi has renovated the Kasbah with close attention to detail, including a great collection of vintage technology. We spent two nights at Labyrinth Kasbah in January 2026, enjoying warm hospitality from Mehdi and his team. He was exceptionally kind and attentive, and even checked the road after we left to make sure we had the best route to Meknes. He also guided us on a one-day trek through the valley, sharing the village’s story and Berber culture before taking us to the Monkey fingers. It was a great hike in amazing scenery. Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with traditional dishes given a different touch. Highly recommended.

I loved sitting on the terrace, with its amazing view and peaceful feel. Mr. Mehdi and his team put a lot of effort into making each stay memorable and pleasant. It’s a charming little property with a warm atmosphere and careful attention to detail. Every room has its own traditional design, and the location is excellent.

The host is exceptional and treats you like royalty. This guesthouse brings Moroccan charm to life, with a fantastic view from its beautiful terrace. It’s also well placed for starting the Monkey finger hike. Highly recommend.
