The setting is ideal for exploring the area and getting an early start on the Akchour walks. Daniel is a friendly host, and his helpful team can arrange guides and hikes if you need them. Breakfast and dinner were both really good, with plenty of variety, and they were happy to adapt the meals. There were two vegetarians in our group, and they were well catered for. There are cute bungalows in different sizes, with traditional decor, private bathrooms, and terraces where you can sit and take in the beautiful views. The night sky is amazing too. Such a gem of a place!

The food is a real highlight. The restaurant menu has lots of choices, and everything we tried was tasty, affordable, and well prepared. The staff, especially Brahim, were so friendly and attentive. Daniel, the owner, was lovely and gave us useful information about trekking options nearby. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place with lovely views and plenty of seating, perfect for unwinding, getting fresh air, and walking in the nearby mountains. We got there easily by grand taxi from Chefchaouen to Rueda crossing, then walked five minutes to the property. A great escape from city noise and everyday life.

The cottages are cozy, and Ahmed & Mouad were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, bread, msimen, orange juice, and coffee or tea. I don’t usually like harcha, but theirs was excellent. When the sky is clear, the stars are beautiful, and waking up to birds and nature sounds is lovely.
