Palais Ambrine

The owner made our last evening feel magical, dressing up the poolside with candles and drapes. The cook is a magician, and Jiji and Sala were friendly, excellent organisers who made our stay special. Grace and Valerie were especially attentive, and all the staff were extraordinary. The villa itself was excellent too.

The food was simply delicious, whether we had breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the entertainment was phenomenal. Our host helped arrange transportation, and the staff looked after us so attentively. Twenty of us spent four amazing days here for my sister’s bachelorette. The home was immaculate. You should definitely book it!

Jamila checked on us right away on the evening of the earthquake and did everything she could to make sure we were okay and comfortable. We were fortunate that the area wasn't damaged. She also put together an incredible birthday party outside the villa, with a DJ, firedancer, bartender, and dinner. The food was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. There were 19 of us celebrating a friend's 30th birthday, and the villa still felt spacious. The rooms are a great size, with en-suites and lovely views over the garden and pool. There's a beautiful open garden outside too. The villa is unlike anywhere I've stayed, and the people are even better. We had a wonderful week.

Jamila was fantastic with our excursions, making sure we were cared for and not ripped off. When we stayed at Palais Ambrine on the evening of the earthquake, she checked that we were all okay, and breakfast was provided the next morning despite the awful events. The villa was ideal for our group celebrating our 30th birthdays. The rooms are spacious, the balconies look over the pool, there was room for cricket or rounders on the green, and the dining area was just what we wanted. The staff were incredibly helpful. We forgot to arrange lunch one day, and they sorted it immediately. They were responsive and ready to help with questions. One evening, they put on a party that was even better than we could have imagined. It's a great place to stay with friends or family, and they cater for everything. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday stay. Thank you again!
