Camping Aourir

We only meant to stay two nights and ended up staying two weeks. The pitches are a decent size, the food was okay and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. Everything was good, though the water pressure was a bit slow and a few more water points would have helped. It's well situated, but you'll need transport.

We thought we'd stay a week and found a real hidden gem. The staff were helpful and friendly, even arranging a taxi for our visit to Agadir. There are also great walks nearby for the dogs. A local artist can paint pictures on your motorhome, and another person offers repairs for any damage picked up on the road.

The pitches are roomy, and the people here are generally very polite and kind, though the elderly German man can be unfriendly and sometimes rude. The pool is clean and mostly used by local children, and the internet works fairly well near reception. It's an older campsite beside a main road, so there's quite a lot of noise. The ground is dusty too, probably because it needs more gravel.

We had a local man paint a mural on our RV, and another did bodywork and paint on the van, including redoing the roof seals. Both jobs were very well done. The campground is quiet, with clean facilities, a restaurant, a pool, several washing machines, and lines to dry clothes. The owners, one German and one Moroccan, are very sweet. There are hiking trails straight from the campsite, and Agadir is a nice city about a 15-minute drive away. We were happy with our 11 days and think we'll return.
