Riad Dar Haven

The hammam and massage at Riad Dar Haven were the highlight of our time on the coast. Nadia and her colleague were knowledgeable and very professional, and I came away feeling like a new person. I'm glad I didn't spend money on a hammam in Marrakech. Thanks to Renée and the team, and especially to Nadia and her colleague. I'd happily return. My wife and I had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly, smiling, and helpful, and the peaceful courtyard was well kept. The rooms were high spec, though a little dated and in need of some TLC. The bed was incredible, firm but still soft, perhaps with a memory foam topper, and good for my back either way. The neighborhood felt quiet and safe at night, with parking available almost anywhere, and plenty of local restaurants. We tried the Lebanese one and loved it. The area has a laid back surfer crowd. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Moroccan bread, which was the best I've had in the country. They greet you with orange juice and croissants, and there are other breakfast choices too. Just to be clear, a riad isn't a Hilton or Radisson, so if that's the setting you want, look at those options.

On our last night, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be than the roof deck at Dar Haven. The neighborhood sounds, birdsong, sunshine, and Atlantic Ocean make it feel like you're staying in a good friend's home. My son and I explored the area, and it's absolutely worth visiting. From the first night's check-in through the superb hammam and massage at the spa, we felt so well looked after. Huge thanks to Nadia and Khadija. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed, the comforter is super comfy, and there's WiFi and a private balcony. The bathtub is unrivaled anywhere. There's also a great shower, but you'd be crazy not to take at least one bath. The beach is a gorgeous five-minute walk away, and breakfast was yum. This is so much better than a chain hotel. I'll definitely be back. Bravo Riad Dar Haven!

We had a perfect stay, with spacious, well equipped, comfortable rooms and a big, clean bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean and decorated, and the riad had a lovely tranquil feel throughout. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to help with questions or requests. The terrace is huge, with comfortable places to sit and relax. Breakfast was lovely, and the coffee machine on the ground floor was always available. The location worked well too, with the beach about 10 minutes away and restaurants and shops just two minutes away. 10/10, I'd stay here again and recommend it.
