We had an incredible time, and the views on our three-hour hike with Hassan, ending in Imlil village, were breathtaking. I’d recommend taking a guide and going for a walk. A few things could make the stay even nicer: blankets in the open salon or sitting room, a welcome guide with WiFi details, suggested walks, and other advice, plus a shared hairdryer and shampoo. It might also be nice to have a way to make tea in a shared space. Thanks for a great experience!

We loved every part of our stay. Mohamed and his family welcomed us into their beautifully styled home, with amazing views, and Mohamed’s mother gave us a cooking class. They also connected us with a very professional mountain guide for our Mt Toubkal trek. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The guest house was a great experience, rustic and very authentic. Coming from Europe, or Australia in our case, it felt quite different, and I say go for it. Dinner costs extra and was served on the rooftop terrace, where we sat on rugs and small stools and could hear the village, including farm animals and braying donkeys. They were happy to prepare vegetarian food for us, and breakfast the next morning was good. It can be a little tricky to find, but Google Maps is accurate. Phone reception was poor, so download the maps for offline use. Look for the left turn toward the village, over a narrow bridge about 3km before town. There’s a small cafe on the right side of the bridge. After crossing, follow the narrow road to the parking area, then climb about 90 steps up the hill to the guest house.

Lahcen and Mohamed were such welcoming, kind owners, and the women in the family were very sweet and caring. The homemade food was delicious and felt full of love. With respectful guests around, the whole place was peaceful. The view of Toubkal is breathtaking, and staying here felt like being with family. I left feeling refreshed and grateful, with a clearer mind. A lovely choice for comfort, authenticity, and a real family spirit.
