The rooftop views of the mountains and village are beautiful, and Dar Atlas felt peaceful and far removed from busy city life. I enjoyed my stay enough to extend it by around 3-4 days. It’s a quaint little guesthouse in one of the Imlil Valley villages, about a 25-minute walk from Imlil town. Finding it is easier if you ask someone in town, since Google Maps suggests a 40-minute route even though there’s a shorter 25-minute walk. The family who owns the place lives on the floor below. They’re friendly, especially if you offer a warm smile first. Breakfast each morning kept me going for quite a while, so I ended up eating only two meals a day. The beds were standard, nothing to complain about. I had a room to myself, which I preferred, though the rooms are set up for sharing. Like much of Morocco, there are no fly screens, so flies can be annoying during the day, but they go away at night.

We spent four nights at Dar Atlas and everything was perfect. Jamal, our host, was always there for us, and the whole family was very kind. The house is really clean, with an exceptional view from the roof. Breakfast was big and a great way to start a day in the mountains. We also had a lovely dinner at a fair price. We recommend the place and expect to return in a few months. A big thanks to Jamal.

The terrace, the lovely family, and those warm, cosy blankets made this place in Imlil feel just right, along with the amazing breakfast. The view is stunning all over Imlil, but it was especially nice from here. Evenings got cold, and when we came back after dinner, they'd already warmed the common room with a heater. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We only stayed one night and wished we could've stayed longer. The hospitality was among the best we had during our 10-day visit to Morocco, and the location is top notch, with epic mountain views. Looking forward to coming back to Imlil and staying here again. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and they made sure we had plenty to fill our bellies. Our room was clean and comfortable, and there was hot water in the shower. The bed could've been better, but it was much like the beds we'd slept on elsewhere in Morocco. Big love from Malta.
