I didn’t stay there myself. Built in the 1930s, the hotel has an ocean-liner style, with curved balconies and clean lines. The design brings another era to mind and reflects Casablanca’s maritime history.

The reception area is spacious, and the traditional painting gives it character. It was calm and very clean, with cheerful staff. Good value for the price, right in the city center.

It was hard to get a decent night's sleep because the hotel isn't soundproofed and the area is really noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were large and comfortable. Our room had air conditioning, a mini fridge and an ensuite bathroom, though it needed a few minor repairs. It wasn't a bad stay, just too noisy.

The balcony looked out toward what seemed to be the local garbage tip. At least the location is central, and breakfast was good if you like bakery items. Otherwise, it's very basic and unclean, the facilities barely work, and the air conditioning was dead.
