Hotel Washington

Despite the impressive name, this hotel was disastrous and incredibly dirty. Looking at the photos, you can tell they don't even clean with bleach. I asked the staff to use bleach in my room, and they said, “No, we don't use bleach.” I was shocked when I saw the doors. It isn't worth the money, and the breakfast is terrible too. With hammering and other noises while you're trying to sleep, it's impossible to rest peacefully. This place needs a new owner or someone else willing to provide financial help so it can change everything. I really don't recommend it.

We were in a hurry, and as Moroccan guests they first put us in a terrible room that looked unusable. It smelled strongly of humidity and mold, had dark damp marks all over the walls, and felt more like a storage room than a hotel room. The two women at reception were rude and unprofessional, and the way we were treated was unacceptable. When we asked to switch rooms, staff first refused. After we insisted, they moved us, but the next room was full of ants and reeked of cigarette smoke. The whole stay was stressful and disappointing. They also wouldn't refund us or let us leave without problems. With the poor service, awful rooms, and lack of professionalism, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Honestly, even one star is too much for you.

The hotel is clean and right in the centre, but the area doesn't feel very safe at night. The room wasn't perfect either. For a low-budget stay of two or three nights, it's good. I stayed three nights, and the staff, from reception to housekeeping, were all so friendly and helpful. Thanks to them!

I paid online in full, then at check-in they added a city tax of 20dh per night. Apparently that gives you access to a disgraceful breakfast buffet. The rooms were nasty, the beds stained, and the toilet was see-through. You could literally see someone using the loo or showering from outside. There was exposed wiring at the wall socket, an electrical hazard for kids, and the water ran out. The beds were so bad I had to buy a sleeping bag just to sleep. After a quick chat with reception they changed rooms, but it honestly made no difference. Do yourself a huge favour and avoid this place at any cost. There's no way this is a 4 star hotel, and I wouldn't even call it a motel.
