Kyriad Résidence Casablanca Centre Ville

Our room at the Kyriad felt like a cozy studio apartment, with plenty of space, nice decor, a generous bathroom, a seating area, a small desk, and a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the location is convenient, with the tram right next door and the souk a pleasant 20-30 minute walk away. A special thank you to Yasmine and Habib at the Campanile/Kyriad Hotel. We started out in a somewhat challenging situation, but it turned into the best possible outcome thanks to Yasmine’s excellent customer relations and Habib’s support. We highly recommend this place for its comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

For three nights I paid 2,135.12 DH, and the quality really didn’t justify the cost. The room smelled bad as soon as we walked in, and there were ants and trash under the bed. The kitchenette had just one spoon despite the room being meant for two, and the fridge didn’t cool anything. The room amenities were very poor too. There was only one liquid soap for hair, body, and hands, with no proper shampoo or shower gel. I wouldn’t recommend breakfast either. At 70-80 DH, it wasn’t worth it, since a nearby café offers a much better breakfast for the same price.

Kyriad is a warm place to stay, with approachable staff who made the experience memorable. Yassmina and Habib were especially lovely, pleasant, and welcoming. I’d recommend either the Kyriad or Companile, which are part of the same group. The Kyriad room had a contemporary design, a small kitchen, and a large bathroom. Companile was somewhat similar, but without the sejour and kitchen. A very high recommendation.

This felt like a mediocre corporate hotel. The port district location seemed unsafe at night, and there was no view. Traffic made it noisy too. When we checked in, the AC wasn’t working, there was no hot water in the shower, the toilet was leaking, and the phone didn’t work. We told reception in the morning and went out for the day. At 3 pm, nothing had been repaired. Staff said maintenance had fixed everything and asked us to check again, which we already had. After going to reception four times and eventually making a scene in front of guests checking in, we were finally moved to another room. The AC worked there, but the shower still had no hot water.
