I was here for one work night and arrived exhausted. The first impression was fine, until I unpacked and realized the room had no AC. Opening the window brought noise in, and closing it didn't help because it wouldn't shut properly. I called reception to ask about the AC and get the window fixed. The repair team came after half an hour and repeated calls, but couldn't fix it. They then assured me they'd move me within ten minutes, but nothing happened for another half hour. I went downstairs, and only then did they give me the key to another room. That room was quiet and had AC, so I finally slept for 17 hours, I was that tired. The next day, I thought maybe I'd been too strict because I was exhausted, so I tried room service. I specifically asked for spoons and said I could do without the food if they just brought those. The order arrived without spoons. That's why I'm writing this. And don't worry, guys, they won't understand what I've written here, since only the receptionist speaks English. P.S. I didn't get to go out, so I can't rate the location.

Getting into the center from the hotel was quick and easy, but the rooms need serious cleaning and maintenance. There was a bad smell, and after I showered the floor flooded. The shower head sprayed everywhere and clearly needed cleaning, while the shower itself was full of water, which felt very uncomfortable and unhygienic. The towels were dirty with spots of different colors, and I was afraid to use them. The hairdryer was so weak it was hard to dry my hair. The menu on the table was sticky, like it hadn't been wiped. The TV had no internet connection, so I couldn't watch Netflix or connect my phone, and there were no English channels. The hotel was noisy in general. One more odd thing: I put the do not disturb sign outside my room, but it was switched to say the room was ready to clean. The same thing happened to my friend that day.

I wouldn't call this a five-star hotel. It may be a good place by Moroccan standards, but as an American I expected better. The bathroom felt dated: the shower was cracked, there was a mark on the toilet seat, and water kept backing up in the sink.

I spent one night at le Palace d'Anfa Hotel and had a good experience. The team were kind and very professional, and both the food and breakfast were good.

The hotel was okay, but the service was terrible and unhelpful, and the staff didn't speak English very well. The food was very expensive, and the room cleaning wasn't good. The dust in the place made my nose hurt.
