Manal, Hind, and Hiba deserve special thanks for their kindness, support, and availability throughout our group’s stay. Their positive attitude and professionalism made a real difference and helped make the experience comfortable and successful. The Odyssey Hotel handled everything smoothly and efficiently, with good organization and attention to detail from the rooms to the service and coordination. I highly recommend it for group bookings and professional collaborations, for business or leisure. My highest recommendation for the hotel’s hospitality and professionalism.

The receptionists were super nice and helpful during both stays. My husband and I spent two nights there, then returned for one night after a few days in Rabat. On the first two mornings, we had breakfast around 8:30 and it was okay. On our last stay I went alone at about 7:30. The food selection was limited, and the coffee and mint tea were terrible. The staff seemed to think I was Chinese because the room was full of Chinese-speaking people. They treated me differently when I went by myself, as a Japanese person, compared with when I was there with my Caucasian husband. I’d recommend going after 8:30 for a better breakfast.

I managed to cancel my booking, thankfully. I’d reserved online a few days earlier and paid, then read the reviews and decided to check the place in person before check-in since I was staying at another hotel. When I arrived, a woman staying there was visibly upset and complaining. The receptionist wasn’t helpful or cooperative. I asked to see the room and was told to sit and wait. Nearly half an hour went by without a response. When I asked again, they told me to keep waiting, even though nobody else was there and the receptionist wasn’t busy. The first impression made it clear to me that the staff were uncooperative, and what I saw and heard matched the reviews completely. Long story short, reception staff clearly need proper training so they don’t drive guests away.

The room itself wasn’t too bad apart from the carpets, and they let us check out an extra hour late. But overall, this wasn’t the best experience for a four-star hotel. The carpets were super dirty, so you couldn’t walk barefoot. The safe didn’t work, the WiFi was slow and spotty, and there was no phone option to reach the front desk or room service. It was hard to communicate with the front desk staff. There were no soap bars in the washrooms, and we were told to use the shower gel instead. They didn’t provide extra toilet paper rolls or a tissue box, and someone had left a dirty rag in the bathroom. The biggest problem was privacy: staff opened our room door twice without knocking. Housekeeping came in at 8am on checkout day without knocking or checking whether we’d left. Then at 11am, someone walked right in and said they thought it was another room. They didn’t knock, even though the TV was on and the hair dryer was running.
