Hotel Calipau Sahara

I spent the day by the pool, which is open to non-residents through a pool and lunch package. It’s a wonderful saltwater pool facing a private beach. Hubert, the general manager, was kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a lovely private beach, and you can book a range of activities directly at reception for reasonable prices. The rooms were very clean, and everyone on staff was lovely and sweet. I had an amazing experience and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast buffet was a delight, and I loved my stay. The rooms are spacious and authentic, and the service was kind and responsive from the staff through to the administration. They have a wonderful, large pool where you can work out and enjoy the sea. I’m not sure whether there’s a private beach, but there are empty, relaxing beaches in front of the hotel. I’d walk there every morning, and it felt so good. They seem to take the guest experience seriously, which really lifts the quality of the stay. Thanks for helping us relax and disconnect. I’d recommend it.

The hotel has an older feel, but it has a charm I haven’t found anywhere else. The pool is wonderful and right by a beautiful beach. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and Chams Eddine in particular helped us find what we needed. He answered all our questions and made us feel welcome, relaxed, and at home. The chef’s food was amazing too. I asked for something that wasn’t on the menu, and she made some of the best Senegalese food I’ve ever had. I had a great stay and will definitely come back. I hope the warm service and food are just as good next time. Thanks!
