Hotel Paraiso Dakhla

This family-run hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, with amazing views and a pool that’s warm enough in summer. It’s a good place to relax and recharge, especially for families or anyone wanting to learn kitesurfing. The food is great, too. If you want to party every night, look elsewhere.

I stayed here last summer and loved the relaxed, family-like feel. The room was really comfortable, the views were beautiful, and everyone was friendly and helpful, from management and wait staff to the kite crew. Kiting out front is great at high tide, and further back at low tide. They can take you to the Speed Spot by tractor, though the ride takes a little while. Amazing place and staff!

I had two kitesurfing lessons with Zizo, who was a great coach. His advice helped me improve, and he encouraged me along the way. The food at the hotel is incredible, and the servers were kind, funny, and sweet every day. We love this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Kiting in the spot with kilometers of low water was amazing, and the restaurant and bar staff and manager gave top service. They were so friendly and kind, thank you ❤️🙏🏻. The kiteschool could be friendlier and better organized, and some equipment was missing. I also missed having a nice tent with comfortable places to sit, like sofas, so we could hang out and watch. The vibe there was lacking. Still, everyone at paraiso was helpful, and I enjoyed the stay. Thanks to all the paraiso staff.
