Sahara Line Hotel

Breakfast was great, and the rooms were kept very clean. The reception team were a bunch of lovely people too.

Mr Mohammed at reception was the bright spot. He was always polite and respectful, ready to help, and greeted us with a big smile whenever we came in. We’re grateful to him. The rest of the stay was a disaster, though, and I can’t recommend it. We booked five nights but couldn’t bring ourselves to stay the whole time. The TV and WiFi didn’t work at all, and there was no refrigerator or hair dryer. The elevator was very old and needs replacing. What bothered us most was the service: the staff were rude, never smiled, and didn’t treat us like clients. Even the cleaning ladies came into our room without permission, which felt disrespectful and was something we really didn’t appreciate.

Mohamed at reception gave me such a warm welcome and useful local tips that my night in Laayoune went smoothly and I felt looked after. I was passing through from Dakhla to Agadir, and the Sahara Line hotel was a convenient stop. It’s easy to walk to cafes, parks, and shops nearby, and I had a lovely grilled meat dinner at Oven across the street. The hotel was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. Thanks for a great overnight stay.

A good hotel for a reasonable price. Just to respond to earlier comments about WiFi, it worked very well for me.
