Villa Soraya

The staff are what make Villa Soraya special. Everyone was kind and wonderful, and it’s all led by Najib, a young manager with vision. From the terrace, you can take in a lush valley, with a manicured lawn stretching down to the pool. I loved starting the morning with coffee there and just taking in the view. It’s a tranquil place away from the city bustle, with a pleasant, easy ride into town on the new road, about 15 minutes on average. If you’re looking to relax and get good value for the price, this is a spot to consider.

The staff at Villa Soraya were so friendly and always ready to help, which made us feel welcome throughout the stay. The pool area was relaxing, with a lovely view over the valley. We enjoyed dinner at both the Crystal Restaurant and the Gourmet Restaurant. The sashimi salmon and duck were cooked just right and made the meals feel special. We tried both a double bedroom and an imperial bedroom. The imperial room had a lovely balcony over the swimming pool, and waking up to that view and the spectacular sunrise, with golden light across the landscape, was unforgettable. Villa Soraya is a little outside central Rabat, but affordable taxi fares meant the distance wasn’t an issue. The quiet location also made for peaceful, restful nights. Breakfast was delightful. I preferred the Moroccan option to the continental one, especially with the fresh orange juice, traditional Moroccan mint tea, flatbread, and omelette, all enjoyed with a view of the pool. It was a memorable stay, and I’d gladly return.

Imane made us feel welcome right away, found us a great seat, and kept checking that we were comfortable. The setting, lively energy, football, and live band all made for a lovely time watching the match.

Ikram was warm and welcoming, and the waiters were pleasant too. The architecture and distinctive interiors are beautiful, and the views are gorgeous. A real hidden gem, and I can’t wait to come back.
