Hagounia Hotel

Perfect.

Just normal.

The people working here are what make it special. Rachid, who looks after the cafe, is polite and honest, and always tries to help, even outside his usual duties. He's particularly helpful if you're travelling or new in town.

We had a very comfortable stay in our spotless, spacious room 218, with a sea view and good Wi-Fi. The beds were comfortable too, and we were able to keep the same room for both nights. The young staff were warm and helpful, and we have nothing but praise for them and the hotel. A young woman called in the afternoon to confirm our reservation in impeccable French, a personal touch we really appreciated. They also helped us deal with a broken side mirror after an inattentive young driver parked next to our car caused the damage. Everything was caught on camera and repaired perfectly, so we could carry on to Laâyoune and Dakhla. We stayed two fabulous nights. The first, February 3rd to 4th, 2025, was booked through Booking.com for 38.00 Canadian dollars. Since no rooms were left there for the second night, we paid 300 dirhams directly at the hotel. Booking.com has a lower rate, which I find paradoxical, but that's how it is. We've included photos to give you an idea of our stay, and highly recommend the hotel.
