The ocean view from the roof terrace is incredible, and outside peak season it’s easy to find a sunny spot and settle in for the day. The staff are lovely, and the food is tasty and fairly priced. I haven’t stayed at the hostel, but that terrace is one of my favorite places in Essaouira.

We arrived soaked from the rain, and the staff welcomed us warmly and let us check in early so we could dry off. They were so helpful, just what you need while traveling. The location is beautiful, the room and food were great, and it’s a relaxing place to recharge and meet other travelers. We’ll definitely come back.

The place smelled moldy and unpleasant, and the hygiene was very poor. Reception staff and the manager were unprofessional and no help at all. It’s gone downhill since I last stayed six months ago. Really disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff and the owner made this stay special. Everyone worked hard to make guests happy, with a warm attitude and a smile, and you can see the effort the owner puts into making everything feel right. I truly loved the people and the place. It was comfortable and gave me such a peaceful feeling. My heartfelt recommendation, and a big thank you to the owner and everyone there.
