Le vent des Dunes

This was definitely the best place I stayed during my holiday. The food was excellent, the staff kind, and the location was great, close to the beach and a 20-minute walk from the town. The indoor spa was a plus.

We spent most of our time walking to the beach, which was easy from this spot, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Our daughter was especially happy playing in the little pool at night. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. The beds and linens were comfortable. We could hear some noise from outside and sound carried around the hotel a bit, but that's to be expected in the city. We'd recommend it.

We arranged camel rides and airport transfers through the hotel, and both worked out excellently. My daughter and I also had a wonderfully relaxing time at the spa. The family room at Vent Des Dunes was roomy and spotless, with a terrace where we enjoyed evening card games. It was tucked into a quiet ground-floor corner, and the shower room and toilet were separate, each with its own sink. The small pool was spotless too, and we swam every afternoon. Breakfast on the roof terrace was delightful, with friendly staff doing their best to meet our family's different dietary needs. We stayed for a week and highly recommend Vent Des Dunes.

The roof terrace and my room were both beautiful, and Nisrine made some wonderful meals. Breakfast was a real feast as well. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my three nights travelling on my own. Nada was welcoming and got in touch before I arrived to arrange transfers and any meals I wanted. She was an exceptionally professional host. The location worked perfectly for me, near the beach and about a 20-minute walk from the medina.
