The location is great, right by the edge of the Medina and close to everything, but the music until midnight made it impossible to sleep. Anyone looking for a quiet place to rest should know what to expect. It’s hard to see how a hotel where guests need sleep can also have very loud amplified music going for hours each night. The restaurant downstairs played live Moroccan drumming and singing both nights I was there. It was loud, and got more intense as the night went on. Even earplugs didn’t block it, so resting was extremely difficult. After the first night I mentioned the noise to staff, but didn’t feel they understood or took it seriously. They said live music is common when the restaurant is busy in peak season and rare in the quieter season. Still, the next night I was awake again with loud music echoing through the hotel at an unnecessary volume. I stayed for two nights. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was okay for the price, clean overall though a little dated, especially the bathroom.

The live music gave this place such a warm feel that I came back the very next day. I’d only dropped in for a quick drink, but it turned out to be a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, good food, and nice drinks. The staff were polite, friendly, and really hospitable. Highly recommend!

Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast, with the center and market very close by. You may still hear music from downstairs late at night.

We went to hear gnaoua at night and didn’t want alcohol. Hot drinks weren’t available, so we tried ordering sodas. The waiter then told us we had to order dessert to keep our table, even though the place was half empty. It’s a shame. Customers should be told the rules before they sit down, and treated with some respect. This place sucks if you have preferences about what you want to order and don’t want to be told what to get. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were very nice, and we enjoyed the good breakfast. It’s a very nice hotel in the Old Medina, with spacious, fairly clean rooms. There’s also a bar serving alcohol. I’d definitely recommend it.
