I’d give less than one star if I could. The room we rented looked nothing like the pictures. There was no sea view as advertised, and the bedroom window was blocked by the headboard so we couldn’t open it. The bathroom was tiny, with an even smaller window that opened onto the area where the owners were sitting and having dinner, marked “Dining Area”.

We left after the first night because the room was so cramped and full of unnecessary stuff. My mom and I had booked a few nights, but the pictures were misleading. The doorways are low enough that you have to duck, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close. Opening it for air just brought in a strong fish smell. The rooftop furniture was covered up, and there was barely a sea view. I went back to speak with the owner, but couldn’t find them. I have no reason to make this up, just sharing what our stay was like and that it didn’t feel suitable. I’d avoid it.

The riad is tucked into a quiet alley in the medina, and it’s very well located. We spent two nights in the first floor master bedroom, which was perfect for three people. The French-Moroccan couple who run it are warm and friendly, and breakfast is plentiful and very good. We’d gladly come back to see you. Arnaud, Tristan and Marie-Laure from Lyon.

Nadia makes a delicious, generous homemade breakfast, and Christophe and Fatima were lovely and very helpful, with great advice for exploring the city. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and there’s a sea view from the terrace. A magnificent riad in an ideal location, and a truly unique experience. I highly recommend it for a wonderful stay.
