The rooftop gave us a breathtaking panoramic view of the Medina of Fes, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. We had a wonderful time at Dar Gnaoua. Mohamed was a terrific host, always around to answer questions or help with anything. Highly recommended.

We were met at R’CIF square and walked to the riad after a last minute change to our itinerary. The owner communicated very effectively, and the host was so friendly we were blown away. He drew us a detailed map of Fes’s confusing streets, offered restaurant and Hammam recommendations, and said he’d come find us anytime if we got lost: “Just send me some pictures, and soon I’ll be next to you!” The rooftop terrace has amazing views of Fez. Breakfast was good, with some fresh fruit, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Mohammed was so kind, always smiling, and speaks very good english. He offered to pick us up and show us a bit of Fes, and drew us a map since it’s so easy to get lost there. The room was a definite 10/10: comfortable bed, amazing view, and a lovely atmosphere. The hand-painted ceiling shows the dar’s quality. I’d totally recommend it, even just for Mohammed and his kindness :)

The room was just what we expected, roomy and with a nice, comfortable bed. The Dar is in the heart of old Fes, close to most attractions. We had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the medina. Thanks to the girl who gave us excellent service. Sorry I didn’t get her name.

The terrace has a beautiful view, and the Moroccan breakfast there in the morning was delicious. Service was great, with helpful restaurant recommendations. Our room was clean and spacious. An incredible place to stay, highly recommend!
