The terrace view is worth a look. The hotel is fairly close to the main alley of the old city and still reasonably quiet. The room was nicely decorated and the interior is lovely. Osama responded quickly and was very helpful with our requests. Breakfast was wholesome, too. The owners are a couple who run the place. Our room felt a bit small for three people, though it seemed they’d made the best of the space available.

We loved chatting with Oussama about life in Fez, and felt so welcome in his beautiful house. We also had dinner at the dar one evening, which I’d recommend if you want a tasty option beyond the often-too-touristy restaurants in the medina. The stained-glass windows were lovely, and the whole place was immaculately clean. It felt like staying at a friend’s house, right in the middle of Fez. The rooftop terrace was so calm and had an amazing view. And the cat! We were just a few steps from the medina’s bustle, yet our side street was very quiet. This was one of the highlights of our Morocco trip. Thanks for everything!

Oussama, his wife, and the housekeeper were the best part of our visit. They’re warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to help. I’ll recommend this riad to everyone I know who’s thinking of visiting Morocco. It’s a nice starting or ending point for trips, even if Morocco feels a bit intimidating at first. That feeling fades pretty quickly after meeting so many kind people. Thanks so much, Oussama, to you and your family. We’ll definitely see you again, on either side of the Mediterranean! :) The riad is clean, thoughtfully decorated, and has everything you need. It’s close to the busy Medina streets and also to an area where you can park or take a taxi. Breakfast was really good, and the rooftop terrace is a peaceful place to relax with views over the Medina and mountains.

The couple who run the riad were so kind and pleasant. They speak French and English, and helped us understand what to see and how to find our way around the old city. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great. I visited with my family and boyfriend. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and beautiful, and the building was tastefully decorated. From the roof, the views were dreamlike. It’s a little hidden treasure among the city’s maze of alleys. If we return to Fes, we’ll definitely come back. There’s still so much more we’d love to see. My heartfelt congratulations on creating this little oasis in the big city.
