Amine made my stay in Fes feel truly welcoming. He was always available and went out of his way to help, from sharing rough taxi prices to giving clear directions. His excellent English made things much easier and more comfortable. I had an impeccable stay and will definitely return if I'm back in Fes.

The foyer at Menzegh Zalagh Boutique Hôtel is attractive and styled like a riad, and the rooms are minimalist but tastefully furnished. After that, things went downhill. The bathroom lacked the usual shampoo and shower gel, and the receptionist answered rather arrogantly, making the guest feel like a nuisance. The toilet broke too, though it was repaired the following day. Breakfast and dinner were okay, but the many waiters were poorly organized and some guests still had no drink by the end of the meal. The rooms are also very noisy. My wife and I were there as part of a tour; otherwise, we would have avoided this hotel. In my view, a place calling itself a "Boutique Hotel" should meet special standards, and this one fell short in too many ways.

For a 4-star hotel, it fell short of what I expected. The room and bathroom weren't clean enough, and breakfast was nothing special. The food in general was disappointing, even the water tasted strange.

We had a beautiful stay and found the hotel close to everything. Ashraf at the desk was a huge help, and the ladies who cleaned our room deserve thanks too. Great staff and a great experience. I'd recommend it.
