I’m puzzled by the negative reviews because we had such a lovely stay. The hotel is close to the historic sights, and the interior is beautiful throughout. Everyone on staff gave us excellent service, and breakfast was tasty with plenty to choose from. I’d happily come back to Fez and stay here again.

Getting here was easy, and loading our bags into a taxi was convenient. We really enjoyed the riad’s atmosphere and were happy with the whole experience. Since we had to leave very early, we asked if breakfast could be brought to us ahead of time. They agreed, so we got to eat in our room, which made us very happy.

Eight of us booked through Booking and told the hotel in advance that we’d arrive late and pay ahead. Even so, they charged our card twice, then, after asking us to wait a few minutes when we arrived, emailed to cancel the reservation. We were left searching for another hotel in the middle of the night. We’d seen the reviews too late and found ourselves in the same situation. This felt completely inhospitable and left us with a very bad impression of Moroccan hospitality. Don’t stay here.
