The rooms were beautiful and felt very private, so it’s a pity we left with a bad feeling. The stay had been wonderful until the next morning, when we were asked for 600 Dh for one soup and one Tajin to share among four people. It wasn’t much food, and we felt scammed.

The staff were very kind, and the hotel itself was amazing. We visited with our family in winter 2018. Our travel coordinator had trouble finding the place, so you might get confused until you arrive. The stars in the sky from the hotel were unlike anything we’d seen before. The main inconvenience was the hot water for showers. The room was very cold, and the hot water would stop. The owner fixed the machine, but this happened several times.

Mustafa deserves five stars for being such a kind person. This is a really nice place if you’re after the feel of an authentic kasbah rather than somewhere that looks like anywhere else.

Set out in the fields, this place is a mesmerizing work of art, from the building to the staff. Mornings bring lovely views and a gentle breeze to start the day.
