My friend and I only had a few days in Marrakech, so we chose the one night desert trip. It was absolutely magical, and I’m already planning to return. I’m Moroccan myself and thought I knew all there was to know about this beautiful country, but I was wrong. Our organizer and driver Khalil was welcoming and friendly, and made the 9 hour drive each way comfortable. He taught me a lot about the country’s history and culture, answered all our questions, and was incredibly knowledgeable. With the scenery, stops, and good conversations, the 9 hours flew by. I’d absolutely recommend this trip. Thanks for your hospitality, Khalil.

The best part was the night at the desert camp. We rode camels and slid down the dunes, then had dinner and an evening performance around a camp fire under the stars. The food was great, and we stopped along the way several times to take photos of the amazing scenery. Joseph was our guide for the whole 2 days on this fantastic private tour. Highly recommend!
Khalil was extremely friendly and professional from the airport pick-up onward, and keeping in touch before the trip helped put me at ease about traveling abroad. The private tour gave us a great experience, with the freedom to stop at shops, markets, or for photos instead of being on a large tour bus. I went with two of my girlfriends and had a wonderful time. We traveled from CasaBlanca to Marrakech, staying at a different raid or hotel each day, and got to see somewhere new each night. We also rode camels in the Sahara and ATVs in Marrakech. The food, culture, people, and country were all lovely. For an adventurous, exotic, yet relaxing trip with friends or as a couple, I definitely recommend it. This was by far my top experience.
Our guide kept reminding us, "Just relax, don't think and enjoy," and we were able to do just that because we were in very capable hands. The Desertbrise team organized this 6-Day Camel Trekking Morocco Erg Zahar experience excellently. Everything promised was delivered, and more. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I could write an essay about it, but I’ll try to keep this short(ish).
Sleeping in the Luxury Camp in the Saraha was magical. We had an excellent dinner by the campfire, great service, Berber music after dinner, and luxurious accommodation with a private toilet, shower, and sink. We could lie on a comfortable bed and look up at a sky full of stars. My girlfriend and I were in Morocco for our birthdays and had first booked a fairly standard 3-day trip to Merzouga. Before we went, I spoke with Khalil, who sent photos and a detailed description of the more unusual Erg Chigaga experience. It lived up to what he described. Ahmad picked us up in a 4x4 and was friendly and drove safely. We crossed the high Atlas mountains, stopping when we wanted for photos, the bathroom, and food or drinks. Having that flexibility was great compared with a larger tourist van. We also explored additional Kasbahs with a Berber tour guide, which larger groups don’t get to do. In Ouarzazate, the accommodation was very comfortable, with hot water, A/C, and a comfortable bed, and the owner and staff were welcoming. Khalil had arranged a birthday cake surprise at dinner at the Riad. The long drive back to Marrakesh went smoothly, with lively conversation and Berber music. The attention to detail from Khalil and his team made this a special, comfortable trip to the Sahara.
