Fayrouz's cooking was the real highlight for me. Every meal felt different, with a lovely balance of vegetables and protein. In the Atlas Mountains, Sel d’ailleurs was a restful, nurturing pause between busy activities. The carefully tended garden and beautiful pool settings made the place feel special. Our room was spacious, with a great ensuite and a private outdoor area where I could do yoga. I left feeling relaxed and happy.

Fayrouz's cooking was the best part of our stay. Dinner was a surprise each evening, but she always served amazing food, from Moroccan dishes to Mediterranean-style plates. Breakfast and dinner are included, and they can arrange transfers to or from the airport and Marrakesh. Sel d'Ailleurs felt like an oasis in the Atlas Mountains, a great place to get away from busy Marrakesh. The rooms were well appointed, cleaned daily, and had good air-conditioning for hot days. Our shower head was broken and sprayed water in every direction. There are two pools, handy when it was 35°. It gets cool at night in the mountains, so bring layers for dinner. The WiFi was hit and miss, which wasn't surprising in the middle of a mountain range. It was an amazing experience I'll never forget, thank you Sel d'Ailleurs!

The owners were very friendly and the service was excellent. The view is stunning, and the whole hotel grounds are lovingly cared for, right down to the details. The food was fresh and excellent, with care given to all the ingredients. Sel d’Ailleurs is a secret gem for a calm, relaxing couple of days among the mountains. We had a perfect stay and definitely recommend it.

The home-cooked meals and hospitality were both exceptional. We stayed for 2 nights on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Since we were the only guests, it felt like a private Villa, with the lovely owners hosting us. Everything was completely peaceful and tranquil. The guide they recommended took us on a fantastic hike. Highly recommend.
