Riad Dar Nour

I’ve loved Dar Nour on many past visits, but this time was terrible. We didn’t even get past the door. The rooftop doesn’t open until 4pm, and after climbing what felt like a million stairs, my friend was very out of breath and needed to sit down. The new chef, who refused to tell me his name, wouldn’t even let us wait inside. He was really rude and shut the door on us. I’ve never had such a bad experience here, and I’m sad to say I’m not sure I’ll recommend the place anymore.

We stayed here with a group of friends and loved every minute. The Kasbah location is perfect, close to all the main sights in Tangier. Marie has decorated the stunning place with real care, and her hospitality was exceptional. Breakfast was delicious too. I couldn’t recommend Dar Nour more!

We had a very bad experience. There were four of us, but the waiter brought just one menu and said that was all they had, even though the place was completely empty. We had to leave without ordering. As we went to complain to the manager downstairs, the waiter insulted us on our way out.
