Domaine des Sloughis

We stopped by, but there was nobody there. We rang the bell several times and only got a response from the dogs. The phone number no longer works either. Maybe they’ve stopped taking guests, or perhaps they only open in another season.

The new swimming pool is a welcome addition in the hot weather. It’s a beautiful setting and very comfortable, and mealtimes are a lovely chance to spend time with Daniel and Sonia. They serve local or French dishes, depending on what you feel like. I’d highly recommend this B&B, you won’t be disappointed 😊.

We’ve stayed at Mr. and Mrs. Gautheret's three times now, and it’s a pleasure every time. There are lots of lovely places to see nearby, including Meknes, Volubilis, and Moulay Idriss. The house sits among centuries-old olive trees, with a swimming pool, spotless rooms in a Moroccan style, a warm welcome, and generous, tasty meals.

We had the campsite to ourselves in November, so we could pick any spot. It’s on a hillside, but the terraces are nicely laid out and level. The toilets and showers were clean. With no heating, though, it can get very cold that time of year, especially with Azrou up in the mountains.
