We only ate at the restaurant and didn’t stay in the riad. The terrace view was spectacular, and the zaalouk, taktouka, and rfissa were all amazing. Those were the most flavorful, delicious dishes we had during our travels in Morocco. Prices were very reasonable too. Thanks so much for the experience!

We came for lunch, not an overnight stay, and really enjoyed it. The Moroccan soup was a great way to start and is well worth trying. The other dishes were delicious too. A lovely spot for a meal.

This is about the restaurant rather than the Riad. The food felt homemade and tasted great, and the service was warm and cheerful. We ate in the heart of the Meknes medina, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and 360 views of Meknes.

Dinner on the upper terrace was chicken, tomato salad, bread, and lemonade. They also brought out extra vegetables and olives at no charge. The view was spectacular, though it got a little cold. I’d recommend it.

The manager was professional and helpful the whole time, and the team made our one-night stay at Riad Selma a good one. The location is central in the Medina and near petit taxi. Our spacious room was in a traditional morrocan building, with a big comfortable bed, private bathroom, and hot water. Breakfast on the rooftop at sunrise was a highlight. The manager also talked us out of trying to walk all the way to Volubilis. The internet says you can take a bus to the closest village and walk to the ruins, but in the sun the distance is simply too much. Take a shared taxi instead. I don’t really have any complaints. The room and bathroom could look better, but it was a clean, well-maintained typical morrocan house, not an american hotel.
