The pool was a nice extra, and the hotel sits right by the dunes, so it’s a lovely spot to sit outside. We had a great time staying in Merzouga. The service was especially warm and attentive.

We had a great stay here with friends and are already thinking of coming back soon. The hotel is very clean throughout, and the rooms are too. The staff and management were kind and happy to help. We really liked the traditional Moroccan food, and the location made it easy to get to the desert and to larger towns like Rissani, with its traditional market.

We spent four nights here, and the whole experience was wonderful. The hotel feels genuinely Moroccan, without the fuss of pricier places that can take away from the local character. It’s right at the edge of the desert, with a stunning view and room to take little walks on your own. Everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We’d definitely recommend it.

The staff are wonderful and do their best to help, and the dinners were tasty and well prepared. Breakfast was adequate. This is a smaller hotel among the places to stay near Erg Chebbi in Marzuga, but the location is one of the best, especially if you’re heading out by camel to see sunrise or sunset over the dunes. The rooms are on the small side, and the amenities could be better, with more toiletries, better shampoo and soap, and enough toilet paper.
