The location is right in front of the dunes, and you can be surrounded by sand in just a few minutes. The route is left, then right just before a walled area, after a small building. At night, watch out for the barbed wire and use a light. From the roof there’s a beautiful view of the night sky and the dunes at sunrise and sunset. The host was welcoming, breakfast was really nice and seemed to use local products, and the room was quiet, very clean, and had comfortable beds. The toilet and bathroom are private and convenient. Bring your own toiletries.

The dunes are an easy walk from the Guesthouse, so you can explore at your own pace and do the sort of things you’d do on a guided tour. A ten-minute walk gets you to the village, where you can shop and try local food in nice restaurants. Breakfast is great. Mohammed was a really good host and can help find extra activities in the region. A great fit for anyone after an authentic desert experience.

We planned on staying a couple of days, but ended up there for over a week. Mohammed was an excellent host, always ready to help and full of interesting stories. The room’s price and quality were among the best we’ve had in Morocco so far.

We could walk to the highest sand dunes about an hour before sunrise, which made the location perfect for our night here to see the desert. Mohammed and his family welcomed us warmly. The rooms were clean, and we had the bathroom, kitchen, and living room to ourselves.
