Merzouga dome

The dome was a great place to stay, and Said gave us the best hospitality and service we experienced in Morocco. The rooms were clean, the beds really comfortable, and the AC worked well. The showers had great pressure and hot water. I’d recommend visiting Merzouga and staying here. It’s worth it!

The dome was so comfortable, and the shower had perfect pressure and hot water. After all our stops in Morocco, my boyfriend said it was the best shower he’d had. We loved the view of the big dunes, especially at sunset, and it felt like having our own little desert bubble. Said was the best part of the stay. He’s kind and welcoming, and made everything easy. We felt completely at home. If you’re planning to stay in Merzouga, I’d totally recommend this place.

The tours were a real highlight. We explored black flat lands and hidden sand dunes, with each stop bringing a new desert view. One evening, we watched the sands turn golden at sunset, then got up early another day to see the first light spread across the desert from a sunrise point just a short walk from camp. At night under the clear new-moon sky, the stars were incredible without city lights. Berber tea, local music around the fire, stories, and freshly prepared meals made the evenings feel warm and full of local character. We stayed in a bubble accommodation at Merzouga Dome, and the camp brought together comfort and an authentic feel. The location was stunning and peaceful, and the staff’s pride in their work showed in how much care they took to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Said and Hussein were especially good to us and looked after us so well. It was a wonderful mix of quiet and adventure, and I’d recommend the bubble stay to anyone visiting Merzouga.
