We toured with Intrepid in late November and had a wonderful stay. The drum performance in the evening was beautifully done and really memorable, and both the food and service were excellent. The nights were cold, but the heater worked exceptionally well and the shower warmed up quickly. There was air conditioning too, if needed. We’d highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Merzouga.

Staying by the bonfire to hear the locals sing, then getting up early for sunrise, made for such a memorable experience. I had one of the best nights of sleep on my Morocco tour. The spacious rooms had A/C, comfortable beds, and great showers. The food was probably the best I had in Morocco, with such good flavors.

The chicken tajin was my favourite meal of the trip so far. The chicken fell apart and the flavor was immaculate. Palmeras also has the best views of the dunes and is the closest to them. Between the food, rooms, and service, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else in the area. The bonfire and drum circle made the evenings feel special. I can’t recommend it enough.

If I’m in Merzouga again, I’d be happy to stay here. The outdoor area was beautiful, with lounges, a fire pit, and a stunning pool looking out over the Sahara dunes. We had an amazing time here with Intrepid. Our tents were large and comfortable, with seating, a full bathroom, and AC.

Thanks for everything. The staff were lovely, excellent people, and always available to help. Hasnae, the manager, was a real professional and so sweet to us.
