The hosts made us feel very well cared for, and Hassan was easy-going and straightforward to deal with. He listened to what we wanted and tailored the desert outings to suit us. We went on a sand-shower excursion, like a sand sauna, and took a camel ride followed by dinner at a desert camp with Berber music and dance. We didn’t want to stay overnight in the desert, and Hassan kindly offered to walk us back to the riad. That walk ended up being the highlight. It took just under an hour, hiking under the stars and learning a little about Amazigh culture and way of life. Maybe they should offer it as an experience someday ;) The riad is a little tucked away from the bustle of Merzouga, but still within walking distance of the Sahara. The room and riad are well designed, with a beautiful, clean pool and seating areas. Breakfast was good. True Moroccan hospitality.

We enjoyed our visit, especially the warm hospitality from Yusuf and Muhammad, who were both so helpful. The place was clean and nice, with a lovely pool and easy access to the big dune. I came with my daughter, and we'd visit again. Thank you!

Hasan and his friends made our New Year 2026 celebration really memorable. They treated us to Berber music and brought the tourists together for a friendly evening. The food was very good, and the comfort, hospitality, and everything else went beyond what we expected. Thank you, Hasan!

In Hassilabied, I didn't expect to find such a lovely riat with a pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it's a good starting point for a desert trip with ambi camps from.

The staff were kind and helpful throughout our three days, and the food was delicious. They also arranged some really fun desert activities for us. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with AC and a bathroom with a shower. The riad seems newly built and has a new pool too. We had an amazing time and definitely recommend it.
