Choosing where to stay in Merzouga took a lot of research, and Aiour turned out to be a great pick. Our two nights in the tent were wonderful: the beds were really comfortable, it was clean, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The service was top-notch too. We had a five-star experience and I’d happily recommend it.

The owner is such a kind, sociable person, and it’s easy to talk openly with him. The rooms are comfortable and well suited, and there are lots of activities to do. At night, the parties are lovely, and you can take in the sky. It’s a beautiful, special place close to the dunes, with really high-quality service.

The camp is clean and tidy, and the service, breakfast, and dinner were all top-notch. They also offer ATV rentals and camel rides, both fun ways to get more of that sandy desert experience. Riad Aiour sits right beside the dunes. Since many Merzouga hotels are farther away, it was great not to have to walk or drive far for the views, a dune walk, or photos.

This was my second visit, and I’m always happy to come back. It’s a beautiful place, with lovely people, good food, a clean room, and the best Sahara sand, plus Gnawa Music. Thanks for everything.
