Sahara Pearl Hotel

We felt at home thanks to the kind staff, especially Ismail at reception. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. There’s also a restaurant, though it’s on the pricier side, and a small shop for daytime snacks, coffee, or tea. The restaurant has several vegetarian choices for breakfast and dinner. We’d stayed at a desert camp before, but our hotel night was even better. It’s closer to the big dunes than most camps and has many more amenities. The location right by the dunes is beautiful, with lovely walks and drives among them. One of our Morocco highlights, 10/10 recommendation.

We spent one night in the hotel and another in camp, and loved the whole experience. The property is beautiful and picture perfect, right at the edge of the Sahara. Our room felt new, was clean, and was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful with everything, and there was a good choice of food plus snacks and drinks for sale. You can arrange a camel ride, jeep ride, or sand sledding on site, but reserve ahead. This was the best place we stayed on our Morocco trip. We didn’t want to leave!

The views are incredible, and I loved the vibe. The only downside was a big group of young people taking over the pool. Apart from that, everything was great. Rachid was so helpful and welcoming, and we had a great time at Sahara Pearl. Definitely book the 3-hour jeep trip across the Sahara dessert. You get to see what’s happening on the other side, and it’s worth it!

I want to go back already! We arrived a few days ago, almost at midnight in a sandstorm. Manager Ibrahim, sorry if I’ve got his name wrong, was waiting for us. We came hoping to take some fashion photos in the desert and, if possible, at the hotel, and managed to do both. The staff and Ibrahim himself were friendly and helpful. I’ve read some not-so-good comments about him, but that wasn’t our experience at all. The hospitality was better than anywhere else I’ve been. The facilities are amazing, with stunning views, a pool overlooking the desert, and incredible sunrises. Our rooms stayed beautiful and clean even through the sandstorm. Breakfast was tasty and generous, and we also had lunch and dinner. Lunch was a buffet with so much food you could eat as if there were no tomorrow, and dinner à la carte was great. I’ll definitely visit again.
