Auberge Dar Najmat

There's a path from the hotel straight down to the beach, and you can constantly hear the Atlantic waves below. The pool area is beautiful, and the setting is fantastic. The place is a little old fashioned and worn in spots, but that gives it character. Guests are all on half board and gather for dinner on the lovely terrace above the pool and sea, so expect to socialize. The owner and staff are lovely, with great service and food.

Dar Najmat was a superb place to relax and leave your troubles behind. The coastline views are among the best in Marocco. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and dinner was consistently top notch. We could choose what to eat each day, and the quality was very good.

The food, except at breakfast, was well below average. We found it much better to eat at the hotel "Les trois Chameaux°", where the meals were incomparably better, though still not a gourmet treat. The rooms were comfortable but small, and there are no room telephones, so you can't call room service. The staff were very welcoming, and the charming boutique hotel sits in a beautiful setting on a broad sandy beach, with the ocean right there.

They arranged surf lessons for us, and the staff were welcoming and nice. The view was great, and the rooms were beautifully decorated.
