Having breakfast on the shared rooftop terrace was a highlight, and the apartment had a lovely sea view. It was beautifully decorated in Moroccan style, comfortable, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We arrived without a booking and were lucky to get the last apartment. There are six apartments spread across three levels, with the terrace open to everyone. We stayed just one night, though we could happily have stayed longer. It may be the best value in town. Thanks for having us.

The balcony view of the ocean was incredible, the kind you could keep looking at. I spent a week at Résidence Terrasse de la Mer and found the apartment cozy, quiet, and clean. It felt homey and suited a peaceful stay, whether as a couple or family. A lovely place to relax by Mirleft’s coast.
The people working there were really nice, and the apartment was quite clean with a wide ocean view. We stayed three nights in this cute Airbnb and it was stunning. I’d definitely come back and recommend it.
The terrace view is first class, and there’s parking right outside. The location is great, with a clean, spacious place for the money. The interior is a little dated.
After three amazing weeks crossing Morocco’s green, fragrant countryside by motorbike, we reached the Atlantic and knew the trip was almost over. It had been beautiful and captivating, though hard at times. We booked Mohamed’s sea-view apartment as a treat to mark the trip, but spent the next two days arguing with the host about the condition of the place instead. I don’t want to be needlessly harsh. Our stay was unpleasant, and I hope this helps get a rental with real potential into acceptable shape for the next guests. Here’s what happened. We had given an accurate arrival time, but nobody was there to let us in. The phone number we were given went unanswered, so we waited in the lobby with all our bags for half an hour until a man came to open the door. The apartment was in terrible repair and very dirty, with dust and grime all over. A kitchen cupboard door came off its hinges when I went to throw something away. On the roof in front of the balcony there were old bread slices and animal bones, possibly left from a previous meal. The blender had a crack, leaked when we used it for smoothies, and started smoking, filling the apartment with a sharp smell. The bathroom mirror was cracked. There were just two towels for a two-bedroom apartment, and both were stained and full of holes. The sheets were dirty too, and a dead cockroach under the bathroom sink should have been spotted with even a quick clean. The host only began replying after Airbnb contacted him. He first came up in the morning to help with the television, then told us we were being too critical and the apartment was fine. I walked him through the problems, including the towels, broken cupboard doors, and dirt everywhere. When we finally reached the cockroach under the kitchen cupboard, his attitude changed. I asked if he considered that acceptable, and he reluctantly said it wasn’t. For the price, the stay was poor value. Earlier in Morocco we’d stayed in cleaner, better furnished and nicer places for less, with hosts who were wonderfully attentive. It does a disservice to the Airbnb hosts who put in so much effort to offer such poor service and take advantage of guests. I’m not writing just to say how awful it was or make anyone feel bad. The man at reception promised the issues above would be fixed before anyone rented the apartment again. That won’t improve our stay, but I hope he meant it and future guests have a good experience and leave better reviews. It’s a great unit that’s run down, and some upkeep would go a long way. Take pride in the business, care about the guests, and listen to them. They’re not there just to fill your pockets. Good service will pay off tenfold. I wish you the best of luck in the future.
