Ecolodge - La Palmeraie

The Berber look brought back old family memories for me, since I’m Berber originally. Federica was especially lovely, always helpful and quick to reply, and the host was great too. A really special stay.

We had a lovely stay, and the owners and staff looked after both us and our children so well, including accommodating all our requests. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there were lots of places to unwind, from the courtyard to the pool. It’s quiet and surrounded by nature. The restaurant was good, and there’s also a little shop selling local produce and pottery. They can arrange plenty of activities and excursions, all run very professionally. We can’t wait to come back.

The standard tent was spotless and had a comfortable bed, though it only had a fan and got pretty warm overnight. The shared showers were some of the cleanest and nicest we’ve come across, even compared with hostels abroad and campsites in the UK. We stayed from 3rd August to 10th August, and the place remained calm even though it was fully booked. The grounds are beautiful, full of plants and a few animals, and we could always find a sunbed by the lovely pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also loved the food, some of the best we’ve had, and we thought the food throughout Morocco was great. We rented bikes and booked a cooking class through the hotel, both highly recommended. A 10/10 stay for us. I honestly can’t see why you’d stay anywhere else.

We loved being surrounded by all that greenery. It was such a peaceful place, and the staff were warm and helpful.
