Les Jardins De Ouarzazate

The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. There are family gathering spots, a place for drinks, and a TV area inside, along with a swimming pool. The rooms and overall design are beautiful, with accessories that bring the past to mind and often have historical meaning. Meals were delicious, and breakfast came buffet-style. Definitely worth a visit.

The bathroom was in rough shape, with cracked tiles, plumbing that barely worked, and a showerhead that sprayed as if it were annoyed I’d turned it on. The air conditioner also did nothing to cool the room. It made noise and lit up, but was basically a humming decorative box. I’ve felt cooler sitting in a parked car on a summer day. The whole place felt like a sketchy roadside motel that hadn’t been cleaned in decades. It was a complete nightmare. Sleep in your car, pitch a tent, or stay anywhere else. Zero stars if I could.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The people were kind, and the food was delicious, especially the kafta tagine. The kids loved the nearly Olympic-sized swimming pool. It’s really worth a visit.

The rooms were a good size, the Wi-Fi worked very well, and the air conditioning was effective. That mattered for our young family in the cold weather, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our agent had booked the hotel for us. Meals were the letdown. Dinner was very average and surprisingly bland in both the vegetable and meat dishes. Breakfast was just as disappointing, served buffet-style in an outdoor tent that felt cold. The food cooled quickly, and there weren’t choices like omelets for some variety. The rooms and basic amenities were fine, but we’re not sure the stay was worth the cost. Better food and using indoor space for meals could make it much better value.
