My stay at Hotel Royal was a very poor experience. The room was dirty, badly maintained, and so small it felt cramped. The TV was old and didn't work, and there was a terrible smell in both the bathroom and bedroom. It was nothing like I expected and wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay.

The place has a modest, vintage feel that I honestly liked. Our room had a balcony, and the street view at night was amazing. The AC worked really well and the sheets were clean. The front desk guy was friendly, welcomed us, and helped with our luggage and parking. The bathroom was so tiny you could barely move, and the shower was cold. We visited in July, so it wasn't a big deal, but I'm curious how that would feel in winter 🥶. Watch out for the cigarette smell, and the price is negotiable. 😊

The shower was cold to lukewarm, as other guests have mentioned. There was no breakfast during my 2021 visit because of Covid, so I can't say anything about it. Still, it's excellent value, priced at about a tenth of the nearby luxury hotels. The location is great, right in the center of town, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

The room was just the right size, the AC was amazing, and the shower was great. There was tea in the lovely lounge, too. The staff are the best, speak great English, and are so hospitable. Yonas was especially helpful with information and let us stay late since our train was late. A must stay in Oujda!

I've stayed here twice now and recommend it in Oujda. It's an older hotel, but it's clean, including the rooms and bathroom. The AC works, the staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is good. 👍
