Palais d'Ouzoud

The owner and staff were friendly, though they may not have had the strongest customer service training. We enjoyed our stay and had good breakfasts. The hotel’s design and location are stunning, and it's ideally placed for visiting the falls if you have a car. The pool looked fabulous, though it was chilly!

A great place to unwind before heading to busy Marrakech. The hotel has a breathtaking view, and the Ouzoud falls are just a four-minute drive away. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff and owners give excellent service. There’s good food and a small selection of local wine and beer. It works well for couples and families alike.

We had dinner here twice because there isn't much nearby, and both the food and the price were good. They grow many of the ingredients at the back of the property. Breakfast was delicious too. Palais D’Ouzoud sits on a large plot with lovely gardens, and the whole place feels quiet and relaxing. It's under a five-minute drive to the waterfalls, so you can often get there before visitors coming from elsewhere in Morocco and have it mostly to yourself. You could stay in town, but there's not much to do there and locals may hassle you. I'd much rather relax here in the peace and nature, with a swim in the pool if it's hot. Best place in town for a very affordable price.

The service was really poor. We asked to see the rooms, but nobody showed us around or even guided us. The hotel staff weren't helpful at all. I wouldn't recommend it, and it doesn't feel like a four-star place, barely two stars in my opinion.
