Great spot.

The value for money was awful. Breakfast was sparse, just bread and black coffee, and it came on dirty dishes. The shared showers and toilets were in a deplorable state, and our room was dirty despite its lovely appearance. The sheets hadn’t been changed and there was a musty smell. We had booked a double bed but got two singles, and there were no towels or toilet paper. The riad is managed remotely with no staff on site. It was also hard to find, hidden at the end of a dead-end street with no sign.

We arrived at 4:00 AM after a long drive with my wife and our two-year-old son, relying on Booking.com’s listing that check-in was available 24 hours. A teenager came out, apparently not understanding what I needed, then left us outside while he called the hotel management. We were eventually told, “We don't have a room available,” despite our booking number and other details seeming to contradict that. At that hour, we couldn’t book somewhere else, and we’d counted on this reservation. After we left angrily, we got a Booking.com message saying the issue was failure to follow the internal check-in procedure. The official explanation seemed completely different. Later, I saw the management had changed the listed check-in hours and removed 24-hour reception. That felt highly manipulative and deceitful. The existing review score doesn’t match the Google review score. The staff and complaint handling were a complete disaster. Amateurs. Hopefully they shut it down.

The rooms are okay, but I don’t think they justify the price. Breakfast costs extra and is just black coffee with bread. Shared bathroom facilities are very basic: one bathroom is in the kitchen, another downstairs, and the shower is on the ground floor in the courtyard.
