I didn't feel safe or private in the room. My friend's key opened the next room when reception told her to borrow a hair dryer from there. The locks didn't work either: a housekeeper walked straight into my room while I was showering, even though I'd locked the door. There's no chain or Do Not Disturb sign, and I felt uneasy leaving my belongings there while I went out. There were ants all over the room, the fridge didn't work, and the electricity was so weak I could barely charge my phone after waiting a long time. The AC barely worked, if at all, and the restaurant food didn't seem four-star. Street noise was bad, especially on weekends, because the windows were poorly sealed and blocked none of the sound. I'm definitely not coming back.

There was no coffee in the room. We asked for a kettle and got one, but our friends in another room couldn't get one, so I guess the whole hotel only has a single kettle. Breakfast was just okay. You're better off getting a set breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants. Don't try the strange grey meat.

From the outside it's a beautiful hotel, but it left us disappointed. It feels run-down and due for refurbishment. Our bathroom was full of ants, and the shower leaked across the floor and flooded it. Breakfast was average too. This shouldn't be advertised as a four-star hotel.

The decor is beautiful, and the location is great, but my stay was disappointing. Dirty rooms, poor service, and brown water coming from the faucet. The hotel seems understaffed, which is a shame given its potential. It needs urgent attention to bring back its former charm.

The room was small, and the toilet was dirty. This place is very old and doesn't feel anything like a four-star hotel. I stayed because of On the Go Tours, and I'll be sending a complaint to the tour company. Honestly, all the hotels on the On the page tour are very bad.
