L'Escale Appart-Hotel By 7Av Hotels

We could get around on foot, with the water park and games area only about a two-minute walk away, so the car stayed parked the whole time. The rooms were clean and the staff quick to respond. Service was excellent, and the waiters were polite. I just wasn’t keen on the food’s taste, even though it was clean. Everything else was perfect; we loved it.

Our stay was made miserable by the receptionists and hotel manager, who spent hours of our time and still couldn’t fix a simple problem they had caused themselves. The customer service was terrible, and this below-standard place is totally not recommended. :)

For families with young kids, there’s plenty here to keep them busy: a game park and water park at the hotel, plus a nearby restaurant where we had very tasty food. The place was quite full in July, which I assume was because of the season. If you don’t have children, you might get better value elsewhere. We booked an apartment and a room through Booking.com. It was easy to find, and parking was available. We arrived around 12 PM, well before the usual 4 PM check-in, but the very friendly reception staff got us into a room right away. It was very clean, and staff kept checking that everything was okay. They even called and came by to ask if we needed anything. You could tell they wanted to improve their service. We did have a few annoying technical problems: there was no electricity at first, then the key card stopped working, and later the kitchen had another power issue. The staff fixed each one quickly, but it was still inconvenient. Even with those hiccups, the clean room, helpful service, and kid-friendly facilities made it a place I can recommend, especially for families with young children.

The full kitchen came with a washing machine, and there was a mini supermarket at the hotel. Ikea is only 15 away. I liked the clean pools, pleasant atmosphere and good rooms. The sleeping sofa was a bit hard, though it did have pillows and thin blankets that seemed fine for summer.
