Riad à la Belle Etoile

The food was so delicious, especially breakfast, and everyone was really friendly. The Riad is right in the center, with banks, shops, and historic places nearby. The beach is about a five-minute walk away. I'd recommend staying here.

The balcony view was perfect, and the rooms were large. The cleaning was spotless, and breakfast was good, though there wasn't much variety. The host was the nicest I've ever met and speaks French, Arabic, English, and Spanish. It's well placed near public transport but away from the noise, close to Rabat without being in the busy capital, and near the beach. The bathroom is separated from the one room only by a cloth, which I didn't like. Still, I don't regret staying here, even if it wasn't my best hotel experience.

The terrace was our favourite place to unwind after exploring the town, and the room was amazing. We had such a great time at Riad at Belle Etoile, thanks in large part to the lovely host, who shared lots of knowledge and helpful tips and guided us through the whole trip. The staff were wonderful, and the atmosphere was lovely. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty to choose from and a chance to try traditional food. We made some of our best memories here.

Getting here from the tram stop takes a bit of figuring out. Walk the full length of the first wall until you reach an open square called a Bab, though there isn't a gate. Cross it straight ahead with a second wall on your left, then take the third road on the right. The place itself is acceptable if you have to stay here, and the inside is lovely with a nice view, though the rooms don't offer much privacy. Breakfast is good, but the service comes with a yellow smile that spoils the stay. Staff bang on the door to ask for the "extra tax" the owner insists on. The owner is snarky when giving directions, even though the place is hard to find. I was also overcharged for laundry by a laughable amount. Best to avoid it and stay with Airbnb. I don't like being treated rudely.
